The girls swimming team went up against Long Beach, East Meadow, and Port Washington in a meet on Saturday. Jericho finished in second place, falling 40 points short of Port Washington’s 131. Sophomore Kiran J. says, “Overall I think we had a pretty great meet. Going in we were nervous, especially since we hadn’t had a meet in 2 years, but a lot of girls got personal and season bests which is always a good feeling.” It was a great return to normalcy as students and swimmers alike are thrilled to have swim meets back at Jericho.
