The girls varsity soccer team faced a challenging opponent, Bethpage High School, for their annual Homecoming soccer game. The players on both sides put up a great fight and the atmosphere of the field was overwhelmingly positive. Freshman Madison K. had an amazing goal during the first half, but Jericho was ultimately defeated by Bethpage, losing 4-1. Despite the loss, the team embraced the joyful homecoming atmosphere and held their heads up high. Many of the girls continued to support their fellow Jayhawks after the game, joining the Nest and participating in homecoming festivities.
