Wrestling’s Youth Provides Promise

The varsity wrestling team gave it all on the mats and lived up to expectations with a winning season. With a team including many young wrestlers, they stayed on a steady path of improvement, positioning themselves for success.

Coach Brodsky shared his enthusiasm for the youth on his team. He said, “We are moving in the right direction. We have a lot of young wrestlers this year but they are steadily improving.”

Coach Brodsky was happy with the progress of the freshmen. He said, “The freshmen on the team are showing a lot of progress. With the mix of freshmen and sophomores, we are confident that we are going to be strong down the road.”

Senior Leon He reflected on the closeness of the team. He said, “There was a great bond of being like a family. The team is really close, and we have each other’s backs all the time.”

Their match against South Side showcased the team’s determination and skill with a commanding score of 44-19, which allowed them to qualify for the playoffs.
